Minnesota Twins Homestand Highlights: July 3-7 (2024)

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – The seventh homestand of the season began this week and the Minnesota Twins are facing off against the Detroit Tigers and the Houston Astros.

Currently sitting at 15-6 in their last 21 games, the Twins started this week’s homestand off with a win against the Tigers.

Here’s what you can look forward to for the remainder of the homestand:

Wednesday, July 3 vs. Detroit Tigers (7:10 p.m.; gates open at 6:00 p.m.)

  • Gateway Giveaway - Baseball Cards: The first 20,000 fans through the gates will receive a free pack of baseball cards.
  • Ceremonial First Pitch - Ty McDevitt: University of Minnesota Head Baseball Coach Ty McDevitt will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
  • Fireworks: Fans can enjoy a fireworks show following the game!

Thursday, July 4 vs. Detroit Tigers (12:10 p.m.; gates open at 10:30 a.m.)

  • Mr. Baseball Ceremonial First Pitch: A ceremonial first pitch will be thrown out by Riley Leatherman, who was recently named the 2024 Mr. Baseball award winner by the Minnesota Twins Community Fund and the Minnesota All Sports Alliance.
  • Fourth of July: Celebrate Independence Day at Target Field and take advantage of the usual daily ticket deals.

Friday, July 5 vs. Houston Astros (7:10 p.m.; gates open at 5:00 p.m.)

  • Gate Giveaway - Twins City Connect Beach Towel: The first 5,000 fans through the gates will receive a Twins City Connect Peach Towel.
  • Olympic Marathon First Pitch: A ceremonial first pitch will be thrown out by marathoner Dakotah Lindwurm, the first Minnesotan to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Saturday, July 6 vs. Houston Astros (1:10 p.m.; gates open at 11:00 a.m.)

  • 612 Saturday: From 11 a.m. until first pitch, fans can enjoy $6 drink specials, $1 snacks and $2 food specials, while receiving the Twins’ best gate giveaways.
  • Gate Giveaway - Pablo Lopez Bobblehead: The first 10,000 fans through the Target Field gates on Saturday will receive a Pablo Lopez Bobblehead.
  • Minnesota State High School League Baseball and Softball Champions Recognition: The Twins will recognize the winners of the Minnesota State High School League Softball State Tournament, which took place in early June in Mankato, and the winners of the Minnesota State High School League Baseball State Tournament, which was held on June 21-22 at Target Field. Softball champions are: New Ulm Cathedral (Class A), Randolph (Class 2A), Mankato East (Class 3A) and Rogers (Class 4A). Baseball champions are: Springfield (Class A), Rockford (Class 2A), Totino-Grace (Class 3A) and East Ridge (Class 4A).
  • Minnesota State High School League Spring Activity Recognition: Prior to the game, state champions from across theMinnesota State High School League’s Spring Sports and Activities slate are invited to take the field for a parade around the warning track, in recognition of their success.

Sunday, July 7 vs. Houston Astros (1:10 p.m.; gates open at 11:00 a.m.)

  • Theme Day - Wine, Women & Baseball (SOLD OUT): Fans who purchased this sold-out theme day package will receive an exclusive Twins tumbler with handle and straw, as well as access to an exclusive pregame hospitality event at the Keeper’s Heart Town Ball Tavern. One lucky purchaser will also have the opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch.\
  • Gate Giveaway - Joe Ryan Replica Kids Jersey: The first 5,000 kids ages 12-and-under will receive a Joe Ryan Replica Kids Jersey.
  • Kids Day: Every Sunday home game, Target Field offers a number of discounts and activities for park-goers including half-priced kids’ meals at select concession stands, Big Catch, Run the Bases, and a coloring mural to let kids of all ages leave their mark on Target Field. A member of the T.C. Sluggers Kids Club will be the Play Ball kid.

Daily Ticket Specials and In-Ballpark Activations

  • Military Discount (Monday-Thursday)- Active military members or veterans with a valid ID, up to three additional guests can receive half-price Diamond Box High or Home Plate View tickets.
  • Treasure Island Resort & Casino Senior Days (Weekday games)- Fans 55-and-older can receive a $5 discount on Field Box, Treasure Island Cove, and Left Field Bleacher tickets.
  • Dollar Dog (Tuesdays)- Every Tuesday, hot dogs are just $1 at the Hennepin Grille and Taste of Twins Territory concession stand.
  • Kids Day (Sundays)- U.S. Bank kids’ meals are 50% off. Postgame, kids are welcome to live out some big-league dreams by running the bases.
