Anyone else’s baby get super cranky when you wake them up? My son usually naps for 2 hours and then I try to wake him up so that his nap schedule doesn’t get all screwed up but lately he’s been so cranky when I wake him and wants to go just right back to sleep.

I don’t ever intentionally wake baby up, I let her sleep as long as she needs, unless of course I have to go somewhere, but even then, I try to keep her sleeping if possible. She sleeps through the night from 8/8:30 until between 5 & 7 (depending on if I am waking up at 5 to take my husband to work)

Maybe too young for a nap schedule yet? Your baby could just need more sleep. If baby has a 3 hour nap once maybe the next one would be shorter and still be ‘on schedule’

Not sure how old your babe is but I stopped waking around the 2 month mark when she started sleeping through the night (7p-5a). Like others mentioned maybe babe just need more sleep.
I hate being woke up too

Saaammme. LO will be 4 months on the 4th and if the nap is longer than 2 hours early in the day I leave it. But if it's the second last nap of the day, I WILL wake her up! And she does not like it 😂 poor little bub wakes up crying but I just put her on the boob until she settles. So I get you. I used to be able to gently wake her before because she used to be swaddled so I'd open it up and switch on the light. Now there's no swaddle so I have to tickle her ears or gently stroke her cheeks or whatever and girl shows me exactly how displeased she is
On that note, I totally get not wanting to mess up the nap schedule. But as I said, if it's the earlier naps, I let her go. But then again, she's napping in her pack n play and not on me in which case completely different story
